Yorkshire becomes a MukAway stronghold as another Keepmoat region joins platform

MukAway’s network continues to grow across Yorkshire, with Keepmoat Homes’ Yorkshire West region joining the platform to strengthen opportunities for material reuse across the region.

The latest addition builds on Keepmoat’s existing presence on MukAway, with other regions already using the platform, including the North East, West Midlands and Scotland, alongside MCI Developments.

Yorkshire is fast becoming one of MukAway’s strongest regional markets, with every new site increasing the potential to connect housebuilders and construction companies with nearby sources of surplus soil and suitable materials.

By matching sites locally, MukAway helps reduce unnecessary haulage, cut costs and keep usable materials in circulation. Every load also benefits from a clear compliance trail, supporting more efficient and responsible material management.

The platform now covers more than 1,300 sites and 130 construction companies across the UK, creating an expanding network of opportunities to make material reuse work at scale.

Fraser Linaker, founder and CEO of MukAway, said:

“Yorkshire is becoming a real stronghold for MukAway. Every new site that joins strengthens the network and creates more opportunities to match surplus materials with projects that need them.

“Having Keepmoat Homes’ Yorkshire West region on board is another important step. The more sites we connect, the greater the potential to reduce haulage, lower costs and make material reuse a practical part of everyday housebuilding.”

As the network expands, MukAway is continuing to build the local connections that make a measurable difference to the cost, efficiency and environmental impact of construction.
