Three more housebuilders sign up to MukAway as October starts strong

Anwyl North Wales, Bellway Homes North West and David Wilson Homes North West have signed up to MukAway for another 12 months, as they commit to the digital platform that helps construction firms move and reuse surplus soil.

The three join in the month MukAway reaches its first anniversary. The platform, from MA EnviroTech Group, launched at the end of October 2025 and now has more than 1,000 sites and more than 130 companies signed up.

The signings come weeks after five housebuilders renewed for another 12 months, having saved more than £450,000 between them.

Fraser Linaker, chief executive of MA EnviroTech Group, said: "October has started strong. Three more housebuilders have re-signed up, straight after five of our earliest customers chose to stay. Housebuilders want to see proof before they commit, and the savings and the data are there for anyone to look at. We reach our first anniversary this month with real momentum behind us."

MukAway matches a site with surplus soil, the donor, to a site that needs it, the receiver, and arranges the haulage

between them. The aim is to reuse material rather than send it to landfill, and to cut waste and cost.

The platform also keeps the waste compliance records for each move, so the paperwork sits in one place. On journeys under 25 miles, the average rate through the platform is below £10 per cubic metre.

Every movement feeds the MA ESG dashboard, which captures environmental, social and governance data automatically, so commercial teams can see the figures when they need them.

The new signings follow a three-year, group-wide deal with GRAHAM in August, and agreements with Vinci and Keepmoat Scotland.
