TechFest shortlist MukAway Platform in 3 categories

MA EnviroTech Group, the company behind construction technology platform MukAway, has been shortlisted for three categories at the TechFest Awards, adding to a run of national recognition that already includes an NCE Award and a UK Start-up of the Year regional win.
The three shortlistings span:
→ Best Use of Technology – Digital Construction
→ Best Use of Technology – Carbon Reduction in Construction and Management
→ Software Innovation – Intelligence & Insight
The spread of categories reflects the breadth of what the MukAway platform now covers, from digital materials trading and waste compliance through to the data and ESG insight contractors use to cut carbon across their projects.
It follows a strong run for the business, which recently won Software Solutions Provider of the Year at the NCE Awards in London and was shortlisted for UK Start-up of the Year, alongside a string of major platform signings including GRAHAM, Vinci and Keepmoat Scotland.
Fraser Linaker CEO of MukAway part of the MA EnviroTech Group, said: "Three shortlists, in three different categories, from one platform. That's not a coincidence. We've been saying for a while that we're changing the face of construction, and now independent bodies who know this industry inside out are recognising it too. This is down to the team building the platform every day, and it's a real marker of how far we've come."
Ian Cheveau, Marketing and Sustainability Director at MA EnviroTech Group, said: "When we set out, we targeted one award win and three shortlists in our first year. We thought that was achievable, and it was a stretch. We've now surpassed that with nine shortlists, including recognition as an ESG Champion and a place among Insider's Most Exciting Companies of the Year, National Builders Federation (Future of Construction Award (pioneering use of Digital, Data, Technology and AI) And the year isn't even out yet. This is national recognition Construction News and New Civil Engineer, with judges who are leaders in construction and tech, so it's a big deal for us and our evolution as a business."
The TechFest Awards winners will be announced later this year.
