MukAway puts Dave the Panda on call for subscribers 24/7

MukAway has launched MukBot, a chat assistant known to the team as Dave the Panda, giving its subscribers answers around the clock from a single button in the platform's chat.

Construction does not keep office hours. Questions come up after a 7am toolbox talk or site meeting, on a late finish in the cabin or during a Saturday cart away, and Dave is on shift for all of them.

Subscribers open the chat in MukAway, click the button and ask. Dave gives them the lowdown on exactly what they need, in real time. Every answer he gives is stored for ten years, so there is a record to go back to.

"We built Dave into the system our subscribers already use every day, so there is nothing new to learn. One click and he is there, at 2am or 2pm. Because every answer is kept for ten years, the advice a site manager gets today is still on record when they need it again," said Ahmed Hamdi, chief technology officer of MukAway.

MukAway has also changed the look of its Potential Matches dashboard, which shows subscribers where their surplus material could be matched and what each match could save them.

The estimated saving, volume, number of sites and number of opportunities now sit at the top of the page. The information icon beside each saving shows the working: the usual cost, the matched cost and the subscriber's share.

"Our subscribers are commercial people. They want to see the number first, and now it is the first thing they see. Put that next to an assistant who never clocks off and you have a platform that works the hours construction works," added Fraser Linaker, chief executive of MA Enviro Tech Group.

Dave first made his name as the star of MukAway's explainer video. Now he has a proper job living on our system.

MukBot and the new dashboard are live now for MukAway subscribers.
