MukAway opens additional demonstration slots as industry interest continues to grow

MukAway team demonstration event

MukAway is continuing to engage with some of the biggest names in construction, housebuilding and infrastructure as the industry increasingly recognises the commercial and environmental benefits of smarter material management.

Following another meeting with a Tier 1 organisation this week, the MukAway team is preparing for a series of further boardroom discussions over the coming days as momentum behind the platform continues to build.

The message from across the sector is becoming increasingly clear. Material management is no longer viewed solely as an environmental responsibility. Forward-thinking organisations are recognising it as a commercial opportunity capable of delivering significant cost savings, improved ESG performance and enhanced compliance assurance.

Every day, businesses across the construction sector are dealing with the costs associated with material disposal, importing virgin materials and managing complex compliance requirements. At the same time, valuable opportunities for re-use and redistribution are often being missed.

MukAway was created to address exactly these challenges, connecting organisations and helping them unlock value from materials that might otherwise be treated as waste. Today, more than 120 companies are already using the platform, with new opportunities being identified and shared every week.

While reducing costs remains a major driver for many businesses, the benefits extend much further. Companies using MukAway can access:

  • Commercial savings through material re-use

  • Enhanced ESG performance and reporting

  • Sustainability and environmental data

  • Compliance assurance and record keeping

  • Direct haulage opportunities

  • Site-to-site material re-use solutions

Combined with the forthcoming MA Dashboard, organisations will also have access to powerful data and reporting tools designed to support sustainability objectives and operational decision-making.

In response to growing interest, the MukAway team has opened additional demonstration slots for the remainder of September. With more than 2,600 followers now engaging with the platform online, the team is encouraging organisations that have not yet signed up to explore how MukAway could support their commercial, environmental and operational objectives.

As pressure increases to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency and deliver measurable ESG outcomes, the industry’s approach to materials is evolving rapidly. For many organisations, the question is no longer whether material re-use should form part of their strategy. The question is how quickly they can begin taking advantage of the opportunities available.
