MukAway lands a triple whammy as Kealshore signs up

MukAway has landed a triple whammy with the signing of North West based Kealshore.

The family-run Liverpool based company has brought three parts of its business onto the MukAway platform at once - its haulage operation, its treatment and recycling facility in Kirkby, and its K Sweep road cleaning service.

It puts one of the region's best-known earthworks and muck away names in front of the developers and contractors working across MukAway's network of more than 1,300 sites.

Established in 1983, Kealshore has spent more than 40 years in earthworks, muck away and site clearance, aggregate supply, grab wagons and road sweeper hire. Its wash plant at Pingwood Lane, Kirkby, turns material from site clearances into recycled aggregate and therefore is an ideal customer for MukAway to partner with.

On MukAway, Kealshore's wagons join the platform's direct haulage link, the first of its kind in the UK, where developers and contractors book material movements in a few clicks and hauliers on the network take the jobs direct.

The Kirkby facility gives users a place to send material for treatment and recycling, close to the motorway network, while K Sweep gives sites a road sweeper to keep entrances and highways clean.

Lewis Pickavance, Director at Kealshore, said: “We’ve been moving muck and supplying aggregates around the North West for more than 40 years, so we know how much time gets lost chasing work and loads. MukAway puts our wagons, our Kirkby facility and K Sweep in one place, in front of the people who need our service. It’s how the industry should be working, and we wanted to be on it, especially having spoken to Fraser and his plans for the platform.”

Fraser Linaker, CEO of MA EnviroTech Group, which owns MukAway, said: “Kealshore is a proper North West family business with a name people trust on site. To bring their haulage, their treatment facility and K Sweep onto the platform in one signing is a great move for us and for our users. By bringing Kealshore to MukAway we’ll expose them to our network and already we can see many opportunities for them which will keep them busy – not just for the rest of the year but through 2027.”

Kealshore joins more than 130 companies now using MukAway, which launched in October 2025 to match surplus soils and materials between sites and keep them out of landfill.
